Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to sleep on our impressions and opinions. We encounter many inputs through conversations and interactions with people on a daily basis, but our quick conclusions can sometimes be flawed. Help us to have the discipline to resist quick reactions to situations, and to instead ask God for guidance, and let a good night’s rest cure our thoughts… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to be super aware of our flesh vs. our spirit. Without exception, every person is vulnerable to their own flesh and the desires thereof, and giving into the flesh always has consequences. Help us to increase our awareness of our fleshly impulses, never saying anything about anyone that we would not feel comfortable saying to their face… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to help others avoid making the mistakes we’ve made. There is not one of us in this world that has escaped making mistakes, and the negative consequences that follow. Help us to help others who are on a familiar path that leads to mistakes, and help us to help others avoid the consequences, pointing them to Jesus… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to keep Jesus in Christmas. Just like in the actual days of Jesus, the world continues to try to eliminate our Lord and Savior. Help us to not hesitate to wish people a ‘Merry Christmas’, and to proudly display the meaning of this holiday season, complete with Jesus Christ, regardless of how the world pushes him out… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to understand that we actually control very little. God is in control, yet we still try to control our surroundings as if we actually know what the future holds, and labor to overcome. Help us to relax and divert our tendencies to control into conversations in prayer with God, because God possesses the only control that matters… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to resist the urge to judge. The blame game is the world’s default, and accomplishes nothing more than judging and tearing down people, satisfying the flesh. Help us to be honest in our endeavors, holding people accountable, but always looking to solve problems and moving forward, instead of judgement by those who too are worthy of judgement… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to make connections that won’t break. People come and go within the work we do in this world, but there are times when special connections are made that should never be broken. Help us to place sufficient energy in keeping connections that are in transition alive, not allowing busy schedules to separate, preserving fellowships that glorify God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to be completely transparent in our solutions to problems. There are times when we’ve been presented with an opportunity to fix a problem, and are tempted to take a shorter path than a complete solution, leaving behind additional consequences for later cleanup. Help us to always see problems clearly and to seek complete solutions that glorify you… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to follow-up with those whom we’ve had breakthroughs. Help us to have good follow-through with those who have trusted us in faith, creating new foundations, aiming high, always for God’s Glory… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to stay out of the wind. When the winds come, they’re indiscriminate with regard to the leaves that they blow, and the direction of the wind determines where the cleanup needs to occur. Help us to be firmly attached to You, never even exposing ourselves to the wind, never needing to be cleaned-up, holding on to God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to re-inflate our faith. Sometimes we’re like an old tire with a very slow leak, continuing to move forward and supporting our weight, but losing our firmness and vulnerable to hazards. Help us to regain and maintain our excitement in You, to be infectious and passionate, and to make non-believers curious of what exactly is fueling us… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to let God do the heavy lifting. Help us to resist our tendency to think that we need to fix everything now, and to utilize God’s lifting power… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to use our time wisely. We all have things and tasks that need our attention, and procrastination regarding our tasks only leads to disorder and anxiety in our lives. Help us to know the difference between healthy breaks and unhealthy procrastination, and to be self-motivating, getting things done, looking to Jesus for guidance, and enjoying peaceful rest… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to purge Satan’s tools in our life. Although we belong to God, we’re constantly being stalked by Satan and his helpers with a never ending parade of traps, all designed to please the flesh. Help us to resist the tools of temptation, and to turn to God and his perfect designs on our life in this world… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to show people around. Our hobbies are important within our human interactions, and provide an opportunity to bond with others, possibly leading to fellowships. Help us to gently urge people to exit their comfort zones, introducing them to what surrounds us, peaking their interests, opening pathways for future friendships and fellowships that enhance lives and glorify God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to work as a team. When two or more are aligned for the glorification of God, amazing things become possible. Help us to come together in faith, and to move together as teams to achieve what we could never do alone, all for the glory of God, letting our efforts serve as examples, attracting others to faith… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to keep the path clear with porch lights on. Help us to make sure that the path back is clear and well lit, always welcoming them back if they so choose… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to enjoy the quiet calm. We have patterns and ani-patterns in and around our lives, but when we find a contrarian path, free of the noise of the masses, we have truly found something special. Help us to find and enjoy the quiet calm, using it to connect deeper with You, and engraving it into our routines… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to question our own thoughts. Satan is also known as the ‘great deceiver’, and one of his most powerful tools against us is ourselves. Help us to question our own thoughts, to test our thoughts against the scriptures, and to resist acting upon our thoughts until we have tested them thoroughly, utilizing prayers and fellowships as well… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to endure a little pain. Our existence in this world has purposes beyond our ability to understand, but all will be revealed in eternity, where our troubles of today won’t even be remembered. Help us to see the purpose in our pain, and when we can’t, to take comfort in Your providence, knowing you are perfectly good… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to have peace in all we do. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to keep things organized around the edges. Help us to stay organized in our relationships, utilizing non-committed time to reengage with those on our edges, always glorifying God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to stay warm and close to God. God is in control, and when we stay close to God, our paths will become straightened and our love will help others keep warm. Help us to always be aware of our proximity to God, staying in prayer through conversations with Him all day long, seeking His will in everything… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to forgive those who don’t deserve it. There are people in our lives who annoy and frustrate us, who actively and passively seek to do us harm, inspiring righteous anger. Help us to forgive them with every fiber of our soul, moving them in softening their hearts, praying for transformation away from serving themselves, into serving God… In Jesus’ name…
Please sing with me… Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Jesus, Happy Birthday to you! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and just trying to make sure we all remember who’s day today really is, it’s the least we can do because he does so much for us, every minute of every day, and although our lives may seem burdened, he laid down his life for us, ultimately relieving our burdens, enabling us to be born again…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to be submissive to the will of God. Want a good life? Want peace in your heart? Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to lean heavily on our fellowships. The workplace in this modern world has become very unfriendly to gatherings based on faith in common, especially Christianity. Help us to appreciate and feed our fellowships, to use them to move our common work forward, to lean upon them for remediation of our human conditions, strengthening our relationships with Jesus… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to do some math. Our lives span years; some of those years being challenging, and others seeming like blessings. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to remember that its me, not you. We are, or at least we should be, in control of our attitudes and thoughts toward others, however, sometimes we fall into grumpy patterns. Help us to recognize when attitudes need adjustment, and to come to you with gratitude for what blessings we have, refocusing our moods in doing so… In Jesus’ name…
