Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to enjoy the change of seasons. The trees did their job and their leaves are beginning to turn, the air has cooled, and the morning dew is providing all the moisture needed. Help us to adjust our lives when seasons change, welcoming the newness, and embracing the opportunities you have planned for us, according to our purposes… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to help those grieving, to grieve well. Help us to help those who are in the midst of the grieving process, being supportive with our words and actions, always pointing to You… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to seek the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to leave doors open to difficult people. Help us to not avoid these people, to be aware of their core values and boundaries, but also to leave doors open for truth… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to let clarity in truth span human disagreements. It seems that almost by default, people focus more on what separates them than the vast majority of what they have in common. Help us to use truth, and the clarity that truth provides, to span the differences in human interactions, resulting in unity in moving good works forward… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to delay our plans for a greater good. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to complete large tasks a little bit at a time. No task should be so large that is becomes daunting and impregnable, if we break it down into sub-tasks, and complete a little bit at a time. Help us to not shy away from our larger works, asking God for guidance on breaking-down tasks, for his glory… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to appreciate lines that are not perfectly straight. Symmetry is a slippery slope, and sometimes we get a little more focused on lines being perfectly straight than what the lines represent. Help us to be more open to asymmetrical situations, to be patient and probing, taking the time to understand what matters, plotting solutions and glorifying God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to focus on creating puddles. If we focus on a standardized method to connect with people, we’ll eventually create fellowships that represent puddles, and as time passes, the puddles in our life will form a pond. Help us to focus on creating puddles each day, looking forward to them joining together, as a single body for God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to take a little time to organize and consolidate. Getting things done often requires the assistance of other people, and it is important to sense when we need to finish our current endeavors, before establishing a new pace. Help us to be appropriately ambitious, according to your purposes, not our own, keeping you always in our focus… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to dispense truth. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to allow God to guide our way. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to offer truth to those who are lost. We’re running out of time to offer truth to those who are still lost, and will needlessly have to endure wrath. Help us to stay subtle, not off-putting, open to conversations with those who are lost, those who are worshiping false gods, those who are practicing evil, somewhat unknowingly… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to find closure in what really matters. Our souls were not designed to have to say ‘good bye’ to those we love, therefore, grieving well involves proper closure until we are hopefully reunited. Help us to seek that proper closure, knowing that our separation is not by design, and is likely only temporary, and love is everlasting… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to understand God’s proper order in our lives. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to mind our own business. Spending time getting deeper in our faith includes our recreational time, free time doing what we enjoy, not burdensome time. Help us to bring Jesus along with us, utilizing our unburdened time for blue skies and fresh air, or whatever it is that we find wholesome and relaxing, it glorifies God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to be collaborative in our precious faith. Collaboration is sorely missing in the world, as nations, leaders and individuals seek to focus on differences, rather than commonalities and problem resolution. Help us to see the benefits of collaboration in our faith, taking opportunities to talk about You, and to bring you into our lives, careers and families… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to be effective, without getting stuck in the muck. Help us to seize upon the momentum we’ve been gifted, utilizing our deepening faith to exercise our purpose… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to prepare for cooler weather. The signs of the times are pretty obvious, and like the seasons and the weather, we should also be preparing for your return. Help us to be aware of the worldly conditions you have warned us of, and to keep our gaze above, continuing our good work with excitement of your return… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to have access to genuine wisdom and truth. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to pause our feelings and seek the truth. We are under constant attack from Satan, and when our hearts belong to God, Satan turns his attacks to damaging us elsewhere, trying to erode our trust in God. Help us to question our feelings and to strengthen our trust in God, knowing that God will see us through… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to truly trust in God. Saying we trust in God does not mean that we actually do trust in God. Help us, through prayer and fellowship, to work on truly trusting in God, to stop obsessing on things that bother us, to stop trying to control situations, but rather to hand it to God, trusting in Him… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to stop feeling like we’ve wasted our time. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to hold our thoughts in what we say. Help us to have the proper spirit when we speak, to always filter our talking points with the Holy Spirit… In Jesus’ name…
