Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to step outside of our normal routines. We are creatures of habit; we settle into our ways and find comfort in the familiar. Help us to be open to the unfamiliar, to disconnect from our habits, to be available for your flow in our days and our lives, resulting is greater joy than our routines can bring… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to see events for what they really are. Two wrongs do not make things right, and trying to create justice with injustice is the work of Satan. Help us to clearly understand that equal and fair justice will not exist until your return, and help us to reach the lost, on your behalf, until that day comes… in Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to take advantage of a slow summer day. The morning is cool, and appropriate for getting our chores completed, but the day is long, providing opportunity to congregate with others inside our cooled spaces. Help us to seek conversations with those escaping the heat, building friendships that can lead to fellowships, all for the Glory of God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to stop creating burdens. We don’t know the future, but we can have a negative impact on our future if we create burdens in our minds that don’t exist. Help us to avoid anticipating negative outcomes, and give us the discipline to come to you with our anxieties about tomorrow, understanding that our feelings are often wrong… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to look forward to conversations that are not scheduled. We do like to have visibility in our day, and to have scheduled events and meetings wrapped up in a tidy calendar. Help us to look forward to the conversations we’ve not scheduled, and to see each opportunity as a potential new fellowship, always seeking to please God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time for a repeatable cadence. When we’ve established communication with people, it is easy to let re-communication slide, losing the continuity of our potential. Help us to establish a cadence with those in our lives, to avoid the loss of contact, and to seek to build and strengthen relationships into their full potential, possibly even into profitable fellowships… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to trim a little less, but more often. When we’re engaged in helping others, we may be motivated to get immediately into the root cause of matters, but usually a more moderated pace is prudent. Help us to avoid going straight to the core, and to instead trim less, but more often, until the root exposes itself… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to let things grow to reveal the flaws. When mowing the lawn, setting the blade too low enables the weeds to blend into the grass, as weeds take advantage of the grace provided by the fescue. Help us to allow things to grow a bit longer, revealing the true weeds that need to be plucked with precision… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to endure less and enjoy more. There are so many facets to our lives, and many of them we needlessly endure by not taking the challenging steps toward building a foundation that leads to joy. Help us to see the blessings in the aspects of our lives that need improvement, seeking your guidance in an action plan… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to establish new seasons for You. The seasons God establishes for us are unique and customized, crafted according to our purposes in serving God, always for God’s glory. Help us to keenly tune-in to our purposes in serving You, and to head down our new paths with confidence, not allowing negative thoughts, focusing only on pleasing You… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to see the patterns you make obvious. If anyone is not for God, then they only have one alternative, and that is to be against God. Help us to help others see the patterns in this world, and for those blinded, to open their eyes to the truth, saving them from Satan’s distractions that lead to death… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to complete our tasks to God’s standards. Aiming high, to the standard of God, is the ultimate goal in every task we seek to complete. Help us to seek You when engaged in our daily tasks, and to strive to please You in all we do, always making a place for you by our sides, glorifying You… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to discern carefully. When we grow closer to God, we should also be growing in our ability to discern truth. Help us listen deeply to what others say, to avoid intellectual laziness, and to always be mindful that Satan is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, always enticing and patient, wanting to snare us; we must discern carefully… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to remember that we can’t deliver true justice, only God can. Injustice in this world is everywhere, and although we have systems designed to deliver justice, those systems are comprised of people, and many people are corrupt. Help us to truly know, deep in our hearts, that true and final justice will be delivered, only by God… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to know that You are all we need. Regardless of what we think are the resources at our disposal, or the science that we think we understand, the only cure for our condition is You. Help us to turn to You completely, to read your word, to converse with You through prayer, building loving relationship with You… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to bring Jesus into the center of every human relationship we have. It is possible to have friendship without fellowship, but seeking fellowship in every relationship should be our goal, and when achieved, creates limitless potential in Joy. Help us to seek You, in our friendships, marriages, and every other permutation of relationship possible, receiving boundless Joy… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to look toward the sky. There is so much going on around us that we have no perception of; the agendas of politicians in their monkey suits, and those who worship mammon and seek to be gods themselves. Help us to look up, to eagerly anticipate your return, and to know that your justice will be perfect… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to reconnect with those once close, but now seemingly far. We all have friends and family who we’ve grown apart from, but are just a call away. Help us to extend our attention to those we’ve grown distance with, to reengage to see if life and the span of time has given them the appetite for truth… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to see the subtleness of how God is moving. It is easy to get lost in what is happening in the world, but God is moving dramatically and exposing truths for those who are deceived. Help us to tap into God’s momentum, being available to the lost, taking advantage of the silenced entertainment, and having fruitful conversations… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to put less emphasis on being right. We all have strong opinions, but we are also flawed people desiring to live in truth. Help us to listen more and speak less, to open our ears and process what we hear in patience, realizing that we do not know it all, and that we are all perpetually students… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to emphasize politics less and faith more. Politicians are an interesting group, and sell their wares on the open market, rarely representing their products with transparency. Help us to know what really matters in our culture, and to map our priorities to the candidates, without party loyalty, only giving our loyalty to God’s priorities, knowing in faith… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to be productive within the boundaries you’ve created. We all have things we’d prefer doing, but sometimes the natural boundaries of the day prevent us from comfortably pursuing what we want. Help us to make the best of what we can comfortably do within the boundaries of the day, moving You forward, achieving tasks for your glory… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to seek the advice of God. Sometimes our decision trees are clear and void of ambiguity, but other times our flesh may be obstructing the correct path to take. Help us to know when to come to You involving decisions, and to freely seek your advice before stepping into situations that may not be glorifying to You… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to see what happens today. The news and events of this world have become bizarre, the legacy sources for reporting can no longer be trusted, with agendas permeating what has been traditionally sound. Help us to stay informed, to be intellectually curious, and to stay focused on Jesus and his return, always supporting others in loving truth… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to help others have a more positive attitude. It seems that those who are lacking in a mature faith tend to focus on the negative, sometimes rising to an unhealthy level. Help us to help those in our life who are excessively negative, to find ways to strengthen their faith to appreciate their blessings, and God’s purposes… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time reset when we’ve stepped over a line. Our human relationships are complex, and miscommunication can lead to the erosion of the trust we’ve earned. Help us to be aware of when our actions may have trespassed on another’s core values, and if this has occurred, to seek God’s advice and remediate according to the book of Proverbs… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to do God’s work. If we take the time to deeply connect with God, we will understand our purposes and have opportunities to do God’s work. Help us to know that your provisions are delivered daily, and through our trust in you, we’ll understand that God’s work done God’s way will never lack God’s supply, for anything… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to avoid dragging faith through the mud. We are all sinners, and when we have disagreements over the non-essentials of salvation, we need to be careful that our criticisms and disagreements glorify God, and not our flesh. Help us to avoid arguments regarding our differences, and to focus instead on our centered beliefs in Jesus and salvation… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to watch and listen for God’s movements. God is moving boldly, and one by one, the hypocrites are being exposed in their disdain for truth and corruption in actions. Help us to be available for those who are suddenly seeing the truth, as the experts and politicians, in their monkey suits, continue on the parade of embarrassment… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to be creative in keeping relationships alive. People come and go in our lives, and as we transverse the decades, it is easier to fall out of contact than it is to remain engaged. Help us to take the more difficult path, to reengage with those we’ve paused, seeking truthful conversations, hoping for reconnections that include faith… In Jesus’ name…
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to be available. Our social norms tend to enforce that certain behaviors are acceptable, but many of those behaviors simply disconnect us from our neighbors, making us unavailable. Help us to question social norms and to resist behaviors that disconnect us from others, staying connected to God, and remaining available to do God’s work as is needed… In Jesus’ name…
