The teachings of the Bible offer paths for us to follow that gives us access to guardrails in our lives that prevent consequences and broken hearts. Help us to turn to You often, immersing ourselves in conversation with You, receiving wisdom that ultimately gives us fulfillment in our lives, satisfying our appetites… In Jesus’ name…

Moments in time offer opportunities to effortlessly accomplish tasks, but ignoring favorable conditions may cause us to labor in excess, beyond what was necessary. Help us to grow our situational awareness, utilizing the advantages surrounding us in the moment, laboring wisely, and always seeking to glorify You in our efforts… In Jesus’ name…

We live in our own little bubbles, standing on a corner and making assumptions, feeling the wind, holding on to our hats. Help us to think outside of our bubbles, to wonder not so much about the wind, but rather the direction of the wind, and what that might represent… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to strengthen our attachment to Jesus, rather than men. Anything comprised of people has some level of corruption, simply due to the fallen nature that we all possess. Help us to build our systems and institutions firmly attached to our Lord and Savior, Jesus, and to avoid the traps of charismatic men, never apologizing for His teachings… In Jesus’ name…

If we have full lives, we practice some sort of prioritization in our daily tasks and responsibilities. Help us to take our relationships with You first while prioritizing our hours, being creative and thinking outside of our self-imposed routines, having a clear vision of success, and seeking to glorify You… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to understand and comprehend the moment. Focusing too intently on the future can cause us to miss the important details of the present. Help us to fully embrace the moments of the here and now, to be mindfully present in our daily situations and interactions, thus reaching our potential in serving others, seeking to glorifying God … In Jesus’ name…

We are all broken, but we are all repairable as well, and our efforts to do better can improve greatly over time. Serving others is an important goal, and simply living our lives and engaging in our daily tasks should give us ample opportunity for interactions that lead to serving others. People and situations are complex, and understanding subtle nuances can be helpful in determining how to handle certain situations. Help us to dive deeply into the components of things that appear a certain way, knowing that truth lies within the multitude of ingredients, and certain ingredients can be deceivingly inflammatory, while seeming wholesome… In Jesus’ name…

We are much more powerful as a member of a team working together than we are as simple individuals. Building trusted relationships over time yields a steady progression in people’s assurance of our ability to achieve strategic objectives. Gifts from God come in many forms; sometimes physical, sometimes monetary, and other times human. Help us see when you have placed individuals in our paths that are meant to help us multiply the fruit of our work for Your purposes, welcoming them with open hearts, and seeking to glorify You… In Jesus’ name…

Healthy boundaries, both with people and systems, help to create lines of demarcation that prevent errors and ultimately make us stronger. Discovering like-minded people in our lives is exciting, but we must remember to allow a proper foundation to form before sprinting down our paths, according to your purposes. Help us to be disciplined when forming new fellowships, taking the proper time to understand another’s core values, thus avoiding situations requiring remediation… In Jesus’ name…

Too much predictability in our lives can lead to complacency, or even boredom. Help us to welcome the unique circumstances of each day, and to weave those differences into patterns that achieve our objectives in beautiful ways, eventually resulting in an outstanding quilt that represents our lives and accomplishments, glorifying God… In Jesus’ name…

Some of us like our lives to be perfectly predictable, with routines firmly established, and the familiar as our mode of comfort. Help us be welcoming of unfamiliar days, not getting annoyed, but rather observing the variety, and letting our lives be enhanced by a little unfamiliar territory, all for God’s glory… In Jesus’ name…

Sometimes we fall into familiar places, moving too freely with the tide, but other times we are firmly planted in ideal places, yet still seek change. There are moods and attitudes we just can’t understand, but because we don’t understand doesn’t mean they are not real to the afflicted. Help us bring these people to You in prayer, praying for a breakthrough that only You can deliver, and being ready when they wake up… In Jesus’ name…

Having a solid plan to achieve goals is important for success, and wisdom embroidered within the plan adds a seemingly magical ingredient along the path. Help us seek Your wisdom for important projects that seem daunting, knowing that You will deliver the necessary ingredients, as long as our ultimate goal is glorifying You… In Jesus’ name…

To many people in our lives, Jesus is just an obscure figure in religion, void of tangible elements with which to connect. Understanding what success means before diving into projects is important, but equally important is limiting the number of ingredients used to achieve success. Having fun and enjoying the company of others is important, and when we do so with unbelievers, it also becomes a time to subtly have impressions on others that will become meaningful in the future. Help us to use our recreation as opportunities to plant tiny seeds for God’s cultivation… In Jesus’ name…

Uninformed opinions can be dangerous and misleading, causing ourselves and others to head down dark paths, blind and vulnerable. Help us to always be intellectually curious, to favor truth over conjecture, and to pray constantly to receive God’s wisdom and truth, which is the only purely reliable source… In Jesus’ name…

When God brings fellow believers together, our common purpose is usually obvious, and we should organize together quickly, delivering on the work that pleases God. We are constantly bombarded with people, media, and special interests vying for our attention and resources, sometimes seeking to improve our lives, and other times seeking to deprive our lives. Knowing when to swim against the currents can save lives, but not having proper technique can cause loss of lives. Help us to have minds of contrarian thought to the world’s values, and teach us the proper techniques to signal dangers and to avoid the rip-currents of societies norms in action… In Jesus’ name…
