As we’ve matured in our faith, we need to remember the basics, especially regarding forgiveness, and freely extending forgiveness to those who have transgressed our core values. Help us know the difference between forgiveness and trust, and to freely forgive those who have hurt us, thus retaining our access to forgiveness… In Jesus’ name…

We have a tendency to try to do the heavy lifting on our own, but when faced with situations of complexity, we often don’t have the entire context, and seeking God’s assistance is the only prudent path. Help us come to You first when faced with problems of a complex nature… In Jesus’ name…

Working with groups of people introduces interesting dynamics, and when deciding on a path forward, we may encounter legacy problems that need to be dealt with. Help us to seek Your wisdom when working with diverse groups, deploying our gifts to span the gaps, and only seeking to glorify You… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to deploy patience when solving puzzles. When we’ve been entrusted with solving problems that have long and diverse tentacles, deploying grace within our human interactions is the most important ingredient on our path to success. Help us to resist frustration and to continue to challenge ideas, utilizing the best combination of tools available, Your guidance, and time… In Jesus’ name…

When we sense that our efforts may not be welcome, our nature tends to give us the urge to leave the situation, but our faith requires us to try to span the gaps. Help us come to You first when dynamics are challenging, seeking the Holy Spirit to guide our ways… In Jesus’ name…

When we’re in a position to see how puzzles fit together, we should seek God’s guidance in illustrating the story, and using our efforts to move good deeds forward. God’s timing is perfect, but when we’re motivated to move forward in our tasks, we tend to want to move according to our own pace, not realizing that less can be more. Seeing and feeling what is wrong or corrupt in this world is easy to do, but pausing and taking notice of the blessings in our lives, for some reason, takes effort. Help us to clearly see the blessings You have placed in our lives, because they are so appreciated… In Jesus’ name…

If we continuously expect others to come to us, or to meet certain thresholds before engaging with them, we will have lonely lives, filled with missed opportunities. Help us seek others, complete with their ways, allowing time and conversation to bridge the gaps of truth and understanding, all for God’s glory… In Jesus’ name…

Strolling along, free of intentions, comfortable in surroundings, and open to interactions, will bring upon us opportunities that otherwise would not exist to glorify God. Help us always get our steps in, but to remain open for those that You put in our paths, because life in a chair is not good for our souls… In Jesus’ name…

Nobody really escapes loneliness, even those who seem to have it all, or those who project the perfect family and friends on Facebook. Help us to deal with loneliness in productive ways, focusing first on strengthening our relationship with You, followed by proactive steps that get us out there… In Jesus’ name…

Serving God in our efforts requires us to go places that are uncomfortable, and to deal with people who we may find off-putting, but meeting people where they are gives us the opportunity to plant seeds for God and his purposes.  Help us to freely go where we’re needed for You… In Jesus’ name…

Getting things done well should be our focus, so avoiding unproductive subplots can be as important as doing good work. Help us to avoid the minutia of unproductive daily interactions, focusing on moving people and priorities forward in a manner that maintains a healthy pace, while always seeking to glorify God… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to remember that we never know where a new introduction will lead. Staying out in the open and being available to new relationships gives God a nice tool to work with. Help us to be willing to breach our comfort zones by accepting new introductions and conversations, always focused on the potential for fellowship and glorifying God… In Jesus’ name…

People like their routines, and introducing change that impacts the routines of others can be disruptive, regardless of the improvements that change may introduce. Help us clearly communicate in understandable terms and words the ‘why’ behind proposed changes, gaining alignment first, and hoping to create a desire for meaningful change… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Saturday and more time to pivot into today’s opportunities. We get easily bored, yet when given new opportunities or proximities, we also become resistant to change, and sometimes miss opportunities that will enhance our lives. Help us pivot into what each day uniquely offers, with Your guardrails in place, and always seeking to glorify You as we take advantage of change… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to synchronize our pace to God’s pace. Most people are terrible at setting an appropriate pace, and moving at an improper pace will result in many unintended negative consequences. Help us build a relationship with God strong enough to have the capability of synchronizing our pace to God’s perfect cadence, avoiding injury and stress in the process… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Monday and more time to be creative in avoiding annoyances. Many things that annoy us are predictable, and if we can’t escape the burden by extending grace, we can always seek to change our proximity. Help us to be creative and to be willing to reach beyond our self-imposed comfort zones, seeking to avoid predictable annoyances that can easily be circumvented… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Tuesday and more time to avoid celebrating the failures of others. On our paths and journeys, as we seek to do good work and to bring others along, we sometimes encounter difficult people who seek to bring us down. Help us to resist feeling joy regarding the antagonists in our lives who have failed, and instead to pray for them deeply… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Wednesday and more time to immerse ourselves a little less. Less can be more, and when trying to influence others for God’s glory, we can give too much attention to those we are seeking to influence, not allowing interactions to have sufficient space between. Help us sense the timing of our interactions with others, allowing enough time between interactions and impressions… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday-eve and more time to respect boundaries. Boundaries are boundaries, regardless of our intent, and when people’s boundaries become clearly understood, we should respect the demarcations without exception. Help us to always be aware and sensitive to the boundaries of others, utilizing prayer in situations where people are not willing to allow truth into their lives, freely handing it to God… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Friday and more time to steward groups for success. When we are entrusted with certain skills and gifts, transferring that knowledge within a group setting requires a different style than dealing with people one-on-one. Help us set a style and pace that works within group settings, valuing the collaboration equally as much as the knowledge, and always seeking to glorify God… In Jesus’ name…

The working week is done, and everything is just fine, all in ways we did not necessarily anticipate, but as long as we prayed, in ways that God answered. Help us to build a confident trust in You, bringing You into every situation we face, knowing the outcomes will be stewarded by You… In Jesus’ name…

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name I pray for my friends in fellowship. Thank you for this Sunday and more time to understand how prayer has impacted our lives. If we don’t take time to pause, deeply pondering our prayer lives, we are likely to miss witnessing how God has answered our prayers. Help us slow-down in meditation, and to reflect on the many answers God has provided to our prayers, because we’re more blessed than we realize… In Jesus’ name…

When we’ve been subjected to unnecessary drama, and the tides have shifted in favor of truth, we need to let things settle down before moving forward once again. Uniting against common threats can be bonding, and enables us to refocus on what truly matters. Help us to regroup after negative situations have caused unnecessary turbulence in our endeavors, refocusing on what matters, regrouping to fill gaps, and always seeking to glorify God in everything we’ve aligned for success… In Jesus’ name…
